Challenge

An Army office responsible for a complex military platform sought a way to ensure it remained accessible and reliable for the warfighter.

Solution

Ark investigated more than 36,000 parts for the platform across obsolescence risk factors, including supplier availability and financial health. 

Impact

Ark identified 18 parts that were most critical to the platform’s supply availability, 15 of which had a single source, and surfaced alternate suppliers. Armed with this knowledge, the Army office was able to proactively mitigate risk across the platform.
