Will Grannis leads Google Cloud’s CTO Office, an engineering team focused exclusively on materially advancing the world’s adoption of and success with global scale technical platforms. Prior to Google, Will was Senior Vice President of Engineering and CTO at L3 Technologies. Will came to L3 following the acquisition of his company, What’s Next, a boutique engineering firm focused on cybersecurity and counterterrorism. Prior to What’s Next, Will held senior executive at roles the Boeing Company, leading all research and development in mobile, analytics, cloud and cybersecurity for the Phantom Works division. Will began his career in the US Army as an Artillery and Intelligence officer. Will holds a bachelor of science degree in operations research from the United States Military Academy at West Point and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
